This unique venue is the brainchild of Tony Millar, Managing Director of Great Grounds, who has always wanted a facility where both teachers and children could see skilled manual trades being demonstrated, whilst linking what they see to what is being learnt and taught in schools. This also provided the opportunity to create a unique business venue, set in an unspoilt and tranquil location in the heart of Staffordshire Moorlands.
The Great Grounds Business and Education Centre is a multi-functional venue for meetings, training, exhibitions and team building activities. The Centre is based around two converted barns which have a quirky feel and provide meeting rooms and exhibition space for up to 150 people and is set in 25 acres of woodlands and meadows.
The barns are being converted with support from European funding and the Centre is due to officially open in May 2018. The facilities have been designed to be modern and functional whilst also being totally unique, so always creating a positively memorable experience for our guests.
The grounds are continually being developed and future plans include remote meeting rooms within the woodlands set in log cabins and tree houses.
